John is a Calgary-based technology leader who enjoys helping people build skills and discover what they’re capable of. He leads teams across several countries, bringing vast experience in technology and developing people. He also serves as President of the PMI Southern Alberta Chapter and previously taught at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

What drew John to Two Wheel View was its focus on youth development: giving young people practical tools, encouragement, and opportunities to build confidence and belonging. Having spent much of his career mentoring others, he values the difference that hands-on learning and a little belief in someone can make. He brings experience in technology, governance, and the practical use of AI to support TWV’s work.

Away from work, John enjoys weekend rides with his kids on the family’s well-worn bikes. As the person who keeps those bikes tuned and running, he feels right at home with TWV’s fix-your-own-bike spirit.
