Jenna Stepanic

Social Enterprise Coordinator

Having completed her Masters in Development, Environment, and Cultural Change in Oslo, Jenna needed a break from the existential dread that accumulated from her studies. She was afforded the opportunity to become a bike mechanic with no prior experience. With that, came a blossoming love of bikes and everything they represent.

When Jenna moved back to Calgary, she was determined to make a positive impact in her hometown and she saw bicycles as the perfect starting point. To her, bikes are more than just a way to get around; they build autonomy, foster sustainable habits, deepen our connection to cityscapes and landscapes, and keep a sense of play alive. It was this belief that immediately drew her to Two Wheel View, an organization that also sees the bicycle as a powerful catalyst for change.

When she’s not at the shop, you’ll probably find Jenna cycling around the city with a dog strapped to her chest, wondering the mountains, or lost in a stack of library books

Intentional community building should not be overlooked. When we come together, we talk through our insecurities, our uncertainties and share stories to help us better understand each other and the world we live in.
