Bemal is Co-Founder and COO of Bariatric Technologies, an early-stage Canadian startup developing specialized garments that support patients throughout their obesity care journey. A professional engineer, he has built a diverse career across the oil and gas, technology, and media sectors, giving him a broad perspective on organizational growth and team leadership.
Bemal also brings 13 years of governance experience with Obesity Canada, where he served as a board member, Board Chair, and Acting CEO. He was drawn to Two Wheel View because of its commitment to youth development and the unique way cycling helps young people build confidence, skills, and independence.
An avid cyclist, Bemal can often be found exploring Calgary's extensive network of trails and pathways.
