The city of Calgary is also home to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta District 5 and 6. As inhabitants of this Treaty 7 territory we acknowledge the passive role we have played in colonization and the ongoing responsibilities we have as treaty people.
