TWV Champion Profile: Anne Miller

January 11, 2018

For the next couple of months, we are going to highlight champions who are important to our success at Two Wheel View and significantly contribute to our mission of changing kids' lives from the seat of a bike.

Meet Anne Miller, Principal Consultant at Constellation Consulting Group, who plays an important role supporting TWV with research and program evaluation as an external evaluator.

Origin: Calgary

When not at TWV, I can often be found… biking, eating cake and pastries, and hanging out with friends and family

What do you like about volunteering/ being a champion at TWV: I enjoy collecting and analyzing the data from TWV because the results are so good! The organization creates significant positive social outcomes and it is heartwarming to hear first-hand from kids about the incredible impact TWV has had on their lives. I also love contributing to the success of TWV through my own skills as a researcher/evaluator and supporting their important social mandate through my program evaluation work.

If someone was considering volunteering at TWV what would be a few selling points you would give them? It is very grassroots and hands-on, meaning you will get to be deeply involved. You’ll likely be inspired by the people involved with TWV – their staff, volunteers, and participants are all amazing and inspiring people to be around.

Favourite travel destination: Mexico, and South Korea

What is your best bike trip: Argentina!

Who was your role model growing up? My grandma

An item I never forget on a bike trip is… Flip flops for when you are not biking

TWV should plan a bike trip to… Mexico or Southeast Asia

If a kid walked up asking for your life advice and you only had a few minutes to give ‘em your best tip, what would it be? Don’t worry about life too much
