Reflections of a well travelled summer – Part 1

September 14, 2015

As our students head back to class, we find ourselves reflecting on what an incredible summer it was. We learned A LOT and had A LOT of fun. This summer was our busiest yet with 92 days on trips and 91 participants experiencing the world from the seat of a bike. (Up from 45 trip days & 44 participants in 2014!!) Over the coming weeks we’ll share pictures, quotes and anecdotes from the epic summer of 2015 right here on our blog. Stay tuned for 2016, we are already dreaming big!

Thanks to participant Stephanie Pye for sharing her reflection on the Argentina Youth Service Trip:

“I brought back so much more than I packed for Argentina, and it wasn’t just souvenirs. I brought back memories of an incredible journey across Argentina with some incredible friends. I brought back a deepened love for cycling, a love for the environment, a love for experiencing new cultures and a love for travel. I also brought back a huge boost of confidence that will give me the chance to go on more adventures. I am so grateful Two Wheel View gave me the opportunity to do this trip at this point in my life, because now that I know what I can achieve if I put my mind to it, I am more open to challenging myself. One of my favourite memories of the trip was reaching the summit. Reflecting on all of the hard work that it took to get to the top made the view even more breathtaking.”
