Covid- 19
Mandatory Vaccine Mandate and Other Information

Two Wheel View – Calgary Ltd (“TWV”) is committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees, youth participants, volunteers and members of the public with whom we interact regularly. In our day-to-day site operations, we have a responsibility to protect all workers and the community in which we operate, and it is for this reason that it is critical that TWV and its staff, volunteers and 18+ participants take all precautions to protect against COVID-19.

Covid-19 is a serious medical illness with the risks of which can be significantly and proven to be minimized through vaccinations. The standard employment practice across many industries, including government, courts, and both non-profit and private industries, has
been to mandate vaccination.

It is the policy position of TWV to strongly recommend and encourage all staff to become vaccinated against COVID-19, as recommended by the Chief Medical Office for Alberta. Staff of TWV must provide, confirmation of their vaccination status by November 21st, 2021 (vaccinated/not vaccinated). Our Mandatory Vaccination Policy applies to all TWV employees, contractors, and volunteers employed or providing service in any capacity to TWV, collectively the “Staff”.

Other measures we are taking to keep our participants, volunteers, staff and community members safe include:

  • Sanitizing procedures for our office and shop spaces

  • Mandatory mask wearing while in our office, workshop and at program hosting locations

  • Regular rapid testing of all team members

  • Hand sanitizing stations available in our office and workshop

  • Work from Home option for staff

  • Shopping and donating of bicycles by appointment only

  • Co-horting of programming staff

  • Reduced numbers of volunteers in shop

  • Physical distancing practices in programs

Two Wheel View's response to Covid-19 is being continuously updated based on recommendations by the Chief Medical Officer of Alberta. They are subject to change quickly as the situation progresses.
