TWO WHEEL VIEW is partnering with the YMCA Youth Exchanges Canada Program to provide youth, ages 14 to 17, an opportunity to explore Canada, meet new friends, and get involved in community projects – from the seat of a bike. It’s a chance to discover new places and people, as well as a chance to share and discover your own community.
The Canada Youth Exchange Program involves two trips: (Students must participate on both trips)
- May 14-22, 2012: A travel experience for students from Calgary to visit Montreal and participate in community projects and local bike rides with students from Montreal.
- June 23-30, 2012: A local Calgary experience with the students from Montreal that will travel to Calgary and participate in community projects and a 5-day bike trip to Banff.
The cost of the Canada Youth Exchange Program is a $50 fee for each participant. In addition, the entire group will be required to fundraise a portion of the costs of the activities and local hosting expenses.
TWV will coordinate the fundraising plan for the group. Airfare and travel costs are paid for by the YMCA Youth Exchanges Canada Program.
