Interested in volunteering? Volunteers are essential to making Earn-A-Bike program a rich experience for Calgarian youth, giving kids opportunities to build self-esteem, gain employment and life skills and of course, have fun after school.
Earn-A-Bike - Calgary is seeking dedicated, fun-loving, responsible and patient volunteers. Bike mechanics and maintenance skills are assets but not required. There are programs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:15-5:30. Volunteers are asked to commit (2) two afternoons per month. You may meet us at the program locations or at a nearby LRT station.
Earn-A-Bike volunteers are required to have a Police Security Clearance information check and an Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check. Information about how to obtain these record checks is available below.
We would love to meet with you to discuss the program and your questions. Please contact Jackie Mann, program leader, to discuss this exciting opportunity to make a difference.
