Two Wheel View Programs
Adventurous - Active - Educational - Environmental

Purpose and Goals
To provide high school students 14 years and older with an immersion opportunity that helps create a better understanding of the cultural and environmental landscapes of our world. Two Wheel View is all about:
- Developing a healthy and active lifestyle
- Fostering cross-cultural understanding
- Developing leadership skills
- Connecting with the natural environment
History
Two Wheel View has educated young people on the environment and local culture in N. America and abroad through educational bicycle expeditions since 2000. Two Wheel View organizes programs for schools, youth groups and students. Our programs focus on learning about new cultures, connecting with locals through community development initiatives, and being environmentally and socially responsible. On these adventures, students learn lessons in personal responsibility, leadership, achievement, and environmental awareness while having fun.
Leadership
Safety is our top priority. Two Wheel View staff and volunteers include parents, teachers and community leaders who have an interest in education and the outdoors. On every expedition there are staff which include: Wilderness First Responders, EMTs, and staff with Red Cross First Aid and CPR training. We have designed comprehensive Emergency Response Plans specific to the destinations we travel. The ratio of students to adult staff is approximately 4 to 1. Read more about staff and volunteers here.
